Returning Israeli culture to the world's stages.

• •Working to restore the presence of Israeli culture in the international arena, to renew ties and cooperation that were damaged, and to present the face of a creative, open and liberal Israel.

Increasing the culture budget and giving the cultural world certainty.

• •Doubling the culture budget within two years and setting a target of 1% of the state budget within a decade.
• •In addition, moving to multi-year budgeting of cultural institutions and organizations, to give them certainty and stability and allow long-term planning.

Requiring investment in original Israeli creation.

• •Requiring every Israeli and international content or streaming service whose revenues in Israel exceed NIS 40 million a year to invest 8% of its revenues in Israel in high-quality original Israeli productions.

Taking politics out of culture and protecting freedom of creation.

• •Strengthening the Israeli Council for Culture and Art and the professional councils, ensuring appointments based on experience and expertise, and giving them the professional tools they need.
• •Strengthening their role in shaping the support criteria and recommending the allocation of resources, and ensuring that culture policy and its support are set in a professional, equal and transparent way, not on political considerations.

Returning culture to the education system.

• •Restoring the budgets cut from the culture basket and ensuring every student regular exposure to a variety of culture and art fields.
• •Integrating cultural literacy and creation into educational programs, investing in training art teachers and developing creation infrastructure in schools.
• •Also working to ensure diverse cultural consumption within the IDF, to expose young women and men to Israeli creation.

Ensuring social rights for independent creators.

• •Promoting a law on the status of artists and creators, which will set arrangements suited to the nature of work in the culture sectors and give independent creators social security.

Recognizing the right to culture and ensuring culture accessible to all.

• •Entrenching in the government's basic guidelines the recognition of the right to culture as a civil and social right.
• •Promoting accessibility to culture and investing in institutions, creators and local initiatives in the geographic and social periphery, in Arab society and in communities that currently receive insufficient response.
