Protecting Israel from disinformation and foreign interference.

Requiring investment in original Israeli creation.

• •Requiring every content and streaming service provider whose revenues exceed NIS 40 million a year to make a uniform investment in original productions.

• •Applying the same equal principles to all news and media bodies, canceling the benefits and exemptions given to associated media outlets, including economic and regulatory obligations, and ensuring enforcement against the channel's systematic violations.
• •In addition, ensuring the government cannot make political use of government advertising budgets or use its power to reward friendly media or punish critical media.

Establishing a professional, independent media authority and protecting press freedom.

• •In place of the Karhi law, leading a uniform, transparent and technology-neutral regulation that will ensure a free, diverse and competitive broadcasting market.
• •Establishing a professional, independent media authority that will replace the fragmented arrangements of the Cable and Satellite Council and the Second Authority for Television and Radio.
• •To ensure its independence, setting a professional appointment mechanism for the authority's council, according to the recommendations of a dedicated independent search committee, and not allowing political interference in the appointment or removal of council members and professionals.
• •Within the new regulation, preserving media pluralism and preventing concentration through effective limits on cross-ownership.
• •Requiring by law a structural separation between the news company and the broadcasting body and its controlling owners, thereby strengthening the independence of news operations.
• •In addition, steps will be set to protect journalists, editors and investigators from threats, harassment, economic pressure and SLAPP suits, in order to preserve independent, professional and unaffiliated media.

Fighting what the party calls the "poison machine" and advancing legislation to prevent abuse of the digital space.

• •Leading a "what is good for Europe is good for Israel" policy in regulating social networks.
• •Advancing advanced regulation that does not interfere with what may be said, but regulates the rules of the game.
• •Platforms will be required to be transparent and accountable for their distribution mechanisms: algorithms, bots and hidden funding.
• •Leading regulation to prevent impersonation and the operation of bots, and requiring transparency in the funding of political content and labeling of content created with artificial intelligence.

Protecting our children online: preserving privacy and safety in every service children use, as countries like Australia and the United Kingdom are leading.

• •In addition, advancing education for critical thinking that will give tools for identifying manipulation and false information and for improving literacy in the digital space.
