For parents' choice to be real, schools must be given wide freedom of action.

• •We will act to transfer about 80% of decision-making powers to principals and education staff: designing curricula, teaching methods, budget management, recruiting and employing teachers, and developing a unique character for each institution.

The first step is abolishing registration zones and letting every parent choose the school best suited to their children.

• •The budget will follow the number of students who chose the school, while keeping budgetary differentiation that gives special reinforcement to schools in the periphery and helps narrow gaps.

The Ministry of Education will focus on its central role as regulator: setting core studies, safeguarding safety, supervising the prevention of incitement to terror, and ensuring loyalty to the State of Israel.

• •The core studies must also include a deep Jewish and national identity: Bible, Jewish tradition, Jewish holidays, the Jewish calendar, knowing the land and our heritage sites.
• •We will act to improve academic achievement and raise the level of teaching in the basic subjects, chiefly mathematics, English, science and literacy.

We will act to significantly strengthen vocational education.

• •Students blessed with practical abilities should get a respected, high-quality and advanced track to realize their skills.

Teachers' pay can be raised by about 30% without increasing the budget, by moving to personal contracts that allow rewarding outstanding teachers.

• •Principals and teachers will be assessed and rewarded by broad results: academic achievement, values education, creating a safe and pleasant environment, and commitment to advancing students.
• •We will act to strengthen teachers' professional training, reduce the bureaucratic burden on them, and create professional advancement tracks that let quality educators develop and advance within the education system.
• •We will act to allow every teacher to represent themselves independently or through an organization that is not one of the currently representative teachers' organizations.
• •We will act for full financial transparency in the "Ottoman associations" too, as is customary in every organization and nonprofit in Israel.
• •We will seek to carry out this correction in cooperation with the teachers' organizations, but we will not let any party prevent the necessary change.

So that free choice does not remain only on paper, we will also improve public transport coverage to schools, so that every family can choose a truly suitable educational framework, and not only the one within walking distance of home.

• •Alongside encouraging competition between schools, we will act to ensure a quality educational response in areas where the number of frameworks is limited, and to provide targeted support to schools and students who need additional reinforcement.
