•According to the party's plan on religion and state (6.10.2026), repealing the religion-and-state legislation passed in the last Knesset term that changed the status quo
•Abolishing the exemption institutions in their current form
•Ending the arrangements that let the independent-education and "Al HaMaayan" networks operate without full government oversight: the networks would be subject to direct state supervision and to the State Comptroller's audit, and teachers' pay would go directly to teachers rather than through associations
•Chief rabbi: abolishing the electing-assembly mechanism and appointing through a state procedure, in which the minister of religious services brings a candidate to the advisory committee for senior appointments and, once it approves, the appointment goes to the government for approval
•City rabbi: one rabbi per local authority, appointed by the authority in a professional, regulated procedure; military service is a condition for candidacy for both chief rabbi and city rabbi
