Официальный источник: Lieberman presents – the national plan for rehabilitating wounded IDF soldiers · Опубликовано 10.10.2026Здравоохранение
- •A fast track for IDF and security-establishment wounded injured in operational activity: quick recognition, shorter procedures, and priority in medical and rehabilitation treatment and before the medical committees
- •A personal rehabilitation plan for every wounded person and a single case manager in the Rehabilitation Division who coordinates the medical, mental-health, employment and family response, with clear goals and follow-up throughout the process
- •Changing how the medical committees work, so that alongside setting disability percentages and entitlements the process builds a practical rehabilitation plan suited to the person, while fully protecting their rights
- •Expanding mental-health services for the wounded: proactive, early detection of psychological injury during and at the end of service, maximum waiting times for treatment, and continuity of care throughout the rehabilitation years
- •Strengthening the Rehabilitation Division and treating teams by adding staff and positions, allocating resources in line with the number of wounded, and setting measurable service targets
- •A dedicated rehabilitation track for amputees, including larger prosthetics budgets matched to personal needs over a lifetime, and wider support for taking part in sport
- •Promoting medical excellence in trauma and rehabilitation: bringing leading experts from abroad to treat the wounded, training Israeli teams and setting up knowledge centers, with tailored care for complex and head injuries
Жильё
- •Long-term housing solutions for eligible wounded IDF soldiers, moving from temporary rent assistance to a stable solution, including help buying a home and adapting it to their needs
Общество и социальное обеспечение
- •Expanding support for the spouses and children of wounded IDF soldiers, including couples and family therapy, mental and educational support, and help coping with the injury's effects on the whole family
- •Strengthening the community support layer for wounded soldiers through local authorities, with a dedicated official in each authority who helps secure entitlements and adjustments and connects them to welfare, education, employment and community services
- •Promoting wounded soldiers' integration into employment, education and entrepreneurship: removing barriers, expanding adapted training and study tracks, supporting entrepreneurship, and incentivizing employers to hire the wounded in the public sector and the economy
