•Defining crime as a national-security threat and its eradication as one of the government's four top goals: re-establishing the cabinet against crime, a national project lead, and bringing in the Shin Bet
•A national operation to collect hundreds of thousands of illegal weapons from the Galilee to the Negev, and tougher minimum sentences for illegal weapon possession
•The "Al Capone" method: flagging the top 100 criminals and pursuing them through every arm of the state — seizure, freezing and forfeiture; reviving "Safe Track"; and against protection rackets, a national compensation fund, a security-companies law and a dedicated police unit
•Sealing the borders against weapons smuggling, including countering drones, and dismantling the smuggling networks and the money behind them
•Strengthening urban and foot policing and attaching Border Police units to stations, and freeing the police from politics through legislation restoring its independence
